before ordering

Can the price go up after the site visit?
The quote from the site visit is final. An estimator’s error is covered by us, not by the customer.
What happens after installation?
Adjustments are free for the length of the warranty. We come out within two business days.
Who removes the old frames?
Old frames and construction debris leave on installation day. The cost is already in the quote.

The calculator’s baseline is Euro 70. The cheaper Euro 60 and the warmer Thermo 86 are fitted less often; the table sets out what each one is intended for.

Six points the estimator checks on site

These six checks are where additional work in a quote comes from. All of it is priced before anything is signed.

Opening out of square
We measure both diagonals. More than half an inch out means shimming, and it goes into the quote as its own line item.
Wall type
Brick, block, framing and concrete all hold an anchor differently. The wall decides which fasteners we bring; the window costs the same.
Condition of the reveals
If the old plaster is crumbling, the reveals will need rebuilding after tear-out. We price that on the spot.
Which way it opens
We establish where the furniture goes and which way the sash will swing. This is agreed before manufacturing: it cannot be changed after installation.
Water management
We check the sill pitch and whether there’s a drip cap above. Without those, water runs into the joint.
Measured at three points
Width and height come off the top, the middle and the bottom. The smallest figure is the one we build to: otherwise the unit will not fit the opening.

What we do after installation

The warranty is five years on the frame and two on the hardware. Everything in the left column is carried out free of charge for that period, with no limit on the number of call-outs.
